Feeling The Love

Yes, I believe every day should be a love day but for those that celebrate Valentine’s Day here are a few inspirations for you. If it’s your birthday, anniversary, wedding and/or special occasion these inspirations should get you in the mood for love. From dinner parties, private setting, home decor, outside or a course an intimate setting you can find a budget-friendly way to show your love. When I retire I know I will spend my time decorating for all holidays. I can see it now. <wink>

Table Settings

Table settings are a good way to spruce up your dinner party. Even though red is common for Valentine’s day, pinks, whites and neutral colors are color schemes to use. The all-white setting below would be a beautiful setting for a wedding and/or anniversary party.

Mantles & Entry Ways

I do love my mantles and entryways. If pink and red is not your color or choice you can put neutral colors together to create a cozy space. Signage, steamers, throw pillow, artwork, etc are ways to infuse love in your space.

Bedroom Inspirations

Keep your bedroom simple, no need to go overboard. If it’s an intimate setting everything will end up on the floor anyway. If you have a red wall adding love art is a good addition. Or the simple pink hearts decor below. The middle picture and decor is great for birthdays or anniversaries.

Outside Decor

Another of my favorites spaces is the outdoor patio space. Throw pillows, decorative rugs, balloons, and candles are a great way to create a loving ambiance. I also love the front door decor added to the amazing light blue unique door. Very inexpensive ways to change the mood for a day or a couple of hours.

Love Trees

Now if you want to go over the top and have an extravagant expression a “Love Tree” would be ideal. What a way to express your love. Tree’s are not just reserved for Christmas but can also be used for any holiday your heart desires. You can dress it up with pinks and reds or keep it simple with neutral colors and decorations.

In-Home

If you want to keep it simple and not go overboard, placing decorative items around the house are just as pleasant. A cocoa or coffee tray for those cooler climates is a great way to warm the heart of your loved one. You can also add pieces to plants and trees or just a minimalist centerpiece with things already in the house.

Now go spread love! Remember to do this everyday and not just on Valentine’s Day!
