Hello Fall, Goodbye Summer

During the change of seasons, I always like to incorporate warm colors, materials, and textures that reflect the seasons with Fall being one of my favorites. It's a great way for me to bring the outside indoors in some form or fashion. You do need to rearrange your entire house, I'm speaking of adding a few decorative pieces to your current decor. I have provided a few of my go-to style trends and/or choices for the Fall. There's no right or wrong way just simply adding your own personal style to your spaces within the comfort of your home. These are a few of my spaces that I add a little taste of Fall.

Entrance or Entry Way Wreaths

Entryways are always a good space to add a personal touch. It adds some warmth to space and when people enter. Another one of my favorites go to's are front door decor like a wreath. You do not have to wait until Christmas to pull out a wreath. Wreaths have become a very trendy style for almost any occasion. You can even personalize it with your initials and/or inspirational words i.e. Thanks, Hope, gestures that fit your lifestyle.

Fireplace Mantle

If you have a fireplace, adding a little to the mantle is a great way to add or change your decor. A vase or jar that can hold some sort of decor leaves, twigs, sticks, with some colored pumpkins is a simple way to spice up the mantle. I love candles so I would always light up the space with a scented candle and I love to mix materials and textures. So I probably would use a metal and wood.

Stylish Decoration

Cranberries are very popular at this time of year. A mason jar or vase fill halfway with water or not, add some cranberries, a few mint or twig leaves for fragrance is a super simple and inexpensive way to add a little style. You could also use other items like small pumpkins, a variety of nuts i.e. pecan, pine cones, leaves in assorted colors instead of the twigs and/or cranberries

Fall Table Setting

Fall table inspiration with painted pumpkins, plate settings and I would definitely add a few candles. But I love how they use pumpkins in a variety of sizes and use them as a centerpiece runner, excellent idea for a dinner party, Thanksgiving dinner, or just a way to jazz up the table decor.
