All Things Red or Pink

So exploring in a Seventeen publication, I came across cute love day fashion inspirations. Not sure why necessary in a teen publication but for us adults taking full advantage of the holiday here a few fashion inspirations to get ready to “Dress and Impress” your love on this special day. Seventeen magazine provided tips on styles or how to coordinate pieces for the day. All things red or pink can be styled in many ways by color blocking pieces of pink and red, combining white and red polka dots, adding red accessories and selecting prints that go well with these traditional love day colors.

The Cami Dress

The Cami dress is a sleek way to not only get you in the spirit of love. Cami’s are intimately inspired outerwear with satin, silk, cashmere or other sensual and soft textiles. The touch of these pieces styled with a jacket or blazer for warmth. As shown below, this style can be achieved with heels, pumps or ankle boots.

Faux Leather

For the cooler regions, Faux leather or leather units can help for warmth purposes. A little fringe or symmetrical cut can add a little touch to create a statement piece. Paired with boots any length would be a shoe of choice and will keep you warm, as well.

Roses

Floral or rose prints are a popular print for Valentine’s day. So don’t be afraid to go for a bold print. I’m not a fan of floral print but this would be a time you would see me go floral bold.

Shimmer

Shimmer pieces whether a top or bottom is another way to add some shimmer to your outfit. If you want to minimally go without accessories this is a great look. The shimmer has an effect on its on so all the other fluff isn’t necessary. These units are normally made with an elastic fabric that can be pretty stretchy for all body types and sizes.

Body Suits

Bodysuits were among some of the popular go-to Valentine's day trends. So don’t go basic buy the cross bodysuit or a lace see-through that will entice your dates eye.
