Spring/Summer Must Have Fashion Highlights

So looking forward to the Spring/Summer 2020 trends… Here are my favorites that made the list and some inspired looks to take you from Spring into Summer.

Bermuda Suits

A very classy, business, casual look very popular within men’s fashion. Several ways you can dress it up for the office, cocktails or even just a casual look. Definitely, on my list of favorites.

Bar Tops

Bar tops take me back to the Sheena E, Sheila E and Madonna styles back in the 80’s. Also, Selena, Aliyah and others from the 90’S. Edgy, sexy but trendy this look may not be for everyone but I hope you are inspired by the different ways to style this look. Can easily be worn with a blazer or with a sheer shirt.

Flowy Dresses

I’m a dress type of girl which is great for the spring/summer. I would prefer a dress over pants/short any day. Now another favorite or go to piece is the flowy dress short or long styled with heels, wedges or flats. You can even put on sneakers with the right dress which could include a basic color and/or bold prints. Here are a few of my favorites…

Cut-Outs

A sexy, elegant and chic way to show a little skin. I can appreciate the style because it gives a little skin but not too much exposure.

Denim Skirt

Now this one is a personal favorite and not just because I like wearing dresses or that denim is a classic textile. Denim is just a wonderful textile that can be styled casually or dressed up with the appropriate business casual accessories.

The Classic Vest

Personally, I am not a layer type of gal. I enjoyed one layer pieces but the vest style is something I will attempt before the warmer temperatures are upon us. A vest can complement almost any attire from dressy to casual.

Bubble Hem

The bubble hem is a little dazzle added to traditional skirts. It takes the mini/short skirt to another level. A nice dramatic way to show off your legs.

Tier Textiles

This is actually a style that is growing on me. One look I stayed clear of when you have wide hips and some backside. This is definitely a look to enhance your lower body and a modern time capsule inspired look from the early 1900s. Some trends never fade.

Off The Shoulder

I absolutely adore this look and one of my must go to inspired styles during the warmer temperatures. It could be paired with any piece: Shorts, skirt, jeans from very casual to dressy. I love bare shoulders it’s just something very sensual about the upper shoulder/neckline. I like to call it minimally and tasteful just giving you a little taste.

Now go and be inspired through the Summer and Spring and look great while you’re at it!
