A Decade of Inspirations

Even though I haven’t accomplished everything I wanted to this year or decade quickly approaching, I have no regrets. It’s been an amazing ten years. I had my daughter the new addition to my family and my mini-me. I started a new professional path in my career becoming a teacher. which was one of the most eye-opening experiences ever. Salute to my educators and anyone in the public service industry. Over this time life has come with a lot of blessings, some limitations and the list goes on but I never gave up. As they say, the marathon continues and I’m preparing and will come to prosper for the next 10 years. I may not be where I desire but I’m right where I need to be at this present moment in life. I continue to spread positive vibes to all and I continue to reflect on the “7 Rules Of Life” below.

I’ve learned to let things go that do not matter, improve or affect my life and the others around. Never ruin a good day with a bad yesterday just let it go. #2 resonates with me because it’s true to life the impact of other’s opinions of you and what you’re doing in life. Live your life and do the things that are empowering to you. The next is very hard to swallow and the bull (Taurus) in me believes time waits for no one but yes give it time. Times heals, open doors just don’t rush the process. This doesn’t mean to sit stagnantly you still have to work towards the goal to get results. Don’t compare, well that’s a tough one since our society has programmed many to “Keep Up With The Jones”. Keep your competition with the person that you were yesterday, only! Continue to stay calm because your life is only a result of YOU! Your trajectory on happiness in life is on you. And yes because life is short and you’re not promised tomorrow always smile through it all. I hope these words of encouragement will inspire you to stay steadfast and live in every moment given.
