So this year has been a fantastic and colorful one with the trendy color combinations for Summer and Fall of 2017. I'm not a big fan of blues but this year the hues of blues have been one of favorite go to's. The crystal clove mood board visually displays my favorite combinations this Fall. It's warm, it's earthy, it's bold, its calming and it reminds me of one of my favorite places; the ocean. When styling with these color just remember not to overdo it, there must be a balance when using deep, warm colors. You can balance out the richness of things with using one deep, warm color and minimally accent with the others. Also by throwing in some soft neutral hues of colors like white or nude will definitely help soften up the overall style. In regards to interiors, woods and metals would be great textures and/or materials that will complement this color palette. Some other style trends this Fall/Winter... Puffy jackets, ruffles, statement earrings (my favorite), high neck tops, vintage/graphic tees (another favorite), crop flares (my least favorite), cold shoulder tops, cushioned sneakers and vacation print dresses. For men quilted jackets, graphic knitwear, wide leg trousers, adventurousness suiting, statement clothing, oversize proportions, turtlenecks, 80's/90's nostalgia and silk shirts just to name a few.
