Imagine being surrounded by red rock, I know doesn't sound so spectacular but Sedona, AZ (aka Red Rock) is one of most beautiful, serene places to visit in Arizona. It's mostly known for its vortex. A vortex is believed to be a spot on the earth where energy is either entering into the earth or projecting out of the earth’s plane. Vortexes (or vortices) are found at sacred sites throughout the world like the Great Pyramid in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru, Bali, Stonehenge & Ayers Rock in Australia, just to list a few. Some say Sedona’s vortex energy is so powerful that you can actually feel it and that it's powerful enough to help people take giant leaps in their spiritual development. The Native Americans believe that a spiritual transformation occurs because the veils to other dimensions are thinner here.

I’m not here to preach to the church or make you believe but it was an undeniable experience for me when I visited the vortex. It was an unexplainable feeling that I felt at one with. While visiting, I felt as though my mind was clear and not moving rampantly before I reach the vortex. So whether or not you believe that energy vortexes actually exist, one thing is for certain, there is “something” about Sedona that has people traveling to see this red dust of beauty.

Just a thought: Go to one of the vortexes and find a spot to be alone. Sit or lie down on the ground, take some deep breaths, as you feel yourself relax. Mentally ask yourself questions that you may not seem to have answers for. Keep breathing and you will notice the difference in how you feel; more relaxed, you will feel your heart open, feel the energy move through your body for healing. I promise it is an experience that you will remember.
