The Beauty In a Brow

Who would have thought this to be a true statement? Your eyebrows are apart of your natural beauty. Please, proceed with caution. Ladies, please stop drawing them on, this is not like coloring a book, so do not apply Crayola. I'm not here to tell you how to apply them but just to encourage you to seek professional advice. More frequent maintenance may be required for some (hairy brows) but for the rest of us, a regular shaping should be considered.

Did you know that your eyebrows should be shaped based on the shape of your face? Square jaws should have softly rounded brows. Round faces should look to have an arch but do not overarch your brows. Since on a long face everything seems to be stretched out on the face you would need to extend the tail of your brow a little more. Now since a heart-shaped face emphasis is on the upper portion of the face you would want to tone it down and maintain a more controlled brow. This is done to balance out the smaller jawline. The oval face is the classic face so the face is well proportioned so a slightly arched brow should be the look to obtain.

A little tip, make sure your brow starts at the bridge of your nose. If you wish to have an arch make sure it starts 2/3 of the way out. Please do not center your arch!!! A little guide provided below.
